Wall Street extends weekly gains, Europe ends higher

FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks are rising for the second day in a row. European markets closed in positive territory boosted by the ECB. The FTSE 100 rose 0.65% and the Dax 0.39%; the majority of the markets in Europe finished the week with gains.

Wall Street is adding on Friday to weekly gains: the Dow jones is up 0.5%, the Nasdaq 0.51% and the S&P 500 0.44%, on its way toward the third record close in a row.

Equities are rising following ECB announcement yesterday and after the NFP report mentioned that the US economy added 217.000 jobs in May.

Gold is falling moderately on Friday, trimming yesterday’s gains; currently trades at $1,252, after rebounding at $1,247, headed toward a modest weekly gains. Crude oil is rising marginally 0.1% and holding above $102.50.

NZD/USD testing downside ahead of dovish RBNZ prospects

NZD/USD is trading at 0.8501, up 0.01% on the day, having posted a daily high at 0.8555 and low at 0.8481.
