EUR futures: room for extra consolidation

According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors added around 6.3k contracts to their open interest positions on Monday from Friday’s final 503,284 contracts. On the flip side, volume dropped sharply by more than 111.6K contracts.

EUR/USD cautious around 1.1400

EUR/USD has started the week on a sideline theme amidst an uptick in open interest although the drop in volume was noticeable. That said, the choppy performance in both open interest and volume leaves the door open for the continuation of the rangebound theme in the near term.
