DAX flattish ahead of ECB minutes
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Germany’s benchmark index, the DAX, opened slightly lower and remains flat following its European counterparts as markets now await ECB minutes to be released for the first time amid ongoing Greece-euro area negotiations.
Currently, the DAX 30 trades flat at 10,970.30 levels, having previously posted day’s highs at 10984.30 levels. The DAX traded cautious after Greece formally requested a loan extension, but uncertainty remains over whether the proposal will be accepted by euro zone officials.
The index is seen trading with a negative market breadth with an advance decline ratio of 14:16. Among major gainers, adidas AG is the top gainer, up 6.46%, followed by Volkswagen AG up nearly 1.26%. While, RWE AG is the top loser, down -1.88%.
DAX Technical Levels
The index has an immediate resistance at 11k. Meanwhile, support is seen at 10875 levels and 10765 levels.
