AUD/JPY breaks bove 94.20 and rises to fresh weekly highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/JPY has been rising constantly during the last hours and managed to break 94.20, area that since the beginning of the week offered resistance. Price climbed to 94.50, reaching the highest level since October 10.

Currently trades at daily highs as the AUD/USD rises above 0.8800 and as the USD/JPY tests daily highs at 107.30.

During the Asian session AUD/JPY moved sideways and then, supported by risk appetite turned to the supdie, moving away from 93.85.

Since Monday the pair was moving without a clear trend, hovering around 93.85 and today made a bullish break that boosted the pair. The aussie is having the best day in a month against the yen.
